Exmoor House is a large Victorian property set in a third of an acre with a large car park and situated in a pleasant wide tree-lined avenue. Although the property has been modernised it retains much of the original architecture and character from the Victorian period.

We are a family run business and reside on the grounds to the rear of the property and are on hand to provide assistance if required.

There is ample off-road private parking in our large full-fronted double entranced driveway.

Washing and toilet facilities consist of a separate bathroom with w/c, washbasin and bath, a separate shower room and 2 separate w/c's.

Each room is fully equipped and comfortably furnished;-

  • Comfy easy chairs
  • Colour TV
  • Electric fire
  • Cooker
  • Microwave oven
  • Refrigerator
  • Crockery & cutlery
  • All bed linen is provided (extra blankets available if required)

Please bring your own towels.
Each room has a electric and/or gas coin meter.

There is a choice of twin bedded or double bedded 2-person rooms and a single person room with a single bed.

The house is very quiet and aimed at providing self-catering holiday accommodation to those who like to relax in a peaceful homely atmosphere. For this reason we do not offer accommodation to children or pets and smoking is not permitted on the premises.

We are located within a short walking distance of the sea, a local railway station as well as Worthing's main railway station, newsagents, Co-op supermarket, Alldays mini-mart, fish and chip shop, public house, Post Office and a launderette.

Beach House Park is just 10 minutes away on foot where you can enjoy the beautiful formal ornamental gardens. The park also has a licensed cafe, tennis courts and 5 international class flat bowling greens and hosts the EBA National Champsionships every year.

Worthing Pier and the town centre is about a 20 minute walk away with all the usual big name High Street stores including Beales, WH Smiths, Debenhams, BHS, Boots, Dixons, Marks & Spencers, Argos, Index, Woolworths, Superdrug etc. Waitrose and Sainsburys supermarkets are also close by.

If you prefer to eat out then Worthing has a wide selection of fine eating establishments covering all tastes from informal to formal dining.

Entertainment is provided by The Connaught Theatre, The Pavilion Theatre and The Assembly Hall which present first class repertory productions throughout the year as well as shows, comedians, musicians and wrestling. There is also a choice of films to watch in The Connaught, Ritz Theatre and The Dome Cinema.

Worthing is an ideal touring centre for Sussex with a wealth of historic buildings, charming villages and beautiful Downland scenery.
